Meet Calvin

Ask anyone who has met Calvin Lapidus and they will universally comment about his infectious smile.  Cal has the greatest smile I've ever seen.  Laughter and smiles are common for children with Pitt Hopkins Syndrome (PTHS).  But these smiles mask the struggle that each child and their family engages in on a daily basis.  PTHS is an extremely rare genetic disorder, characterized by developmental delays, seizures, lack of speech and other sensory disorders. The Pitt Hopkins Research Foundation (PHRF) supports researchers dedicated to finding a cure.  Their motto is "We don't just hope for miracles.  We fight for them."  Please join our fight!

Since the inaugural PHRF Open, hosted by the family of Calvin Lapidus, our golf tournaments have raised over $40,000 to support the Pitt Hopkins Research Foundation for boys and girls like Calvin. 95% of every dollar raised by the PHRF goes directly to research.  Research on the cusp of miracles.  In fact, we are just about to announce our very first clinical trial - which just received FDA approval this week!

On Saturday, October 12th, please join us at the Rancho Park Par 3 Golf Course for an afternoon of golf, fun, friends and hope.  Sponsorship opportunities are available.
